The game set off at a frantic pace with both teams trying to dominate but it was TKA who were successful with a well taken goal by Andrew Squires. This was soon followed by a 2nd goal from TKA which seemed to knock the stuffing out of Newlands. A stonewall penalty for TKA was missed by referee Mr Stewart which left the half time score at 2 - 0

HT 2 - 0

The 2nd half saw TKA really on top and further goals followed to take TKA to a comfortable 4 - 0 lead. A last minute consolation goal for Newlands did not take the shine off what had been a very impressive performance. Chris Riley at the back was outstanding and rightly deserved his MoM award. An excellent team performance.
