The year 7 hockey team started well in the first match and exerted pressure from the start. After several near misses Chelsea Reidy put the first goal past the Macmillan goal keeper near the end of the 1st half. Macmillan came back fighting, but with confident defending by Ellie Walker and Mollie Craig they were kept out of the D. Chloe McQuitty finished the second half with a second goal making the final score 2- 0.

The Kings' Academy started slowly in the second game and Macmillan got an break and managed to score an early goal. This seemed to spur The Kings' on and they exerted more pressure towards the end of the 1st half. In the 2nd half Kings' used the space more effectively and played the ball around the Macmillan players, this paid off as Chelsea Reidy put 2 goals past the keeper finishing the game at a 2 -1 win.
